From Scattered Notes to a Weekly Report with Tiiny

    Experiences
    QwenUseCase

By the end of the week, my notes were a mix of short updates, half-finished thoughts, and reminders. They named colleagues, staging access, legal wording that wasn't public yet, and finance numbers. I gave them to Tiiny and asked for a report on completed work, work in progress, problems, next week's priorities, and help needed from others, with unclear items marked and nothing overstated. My notes aren't something I want sitting on a hosted service, so I wasn't going to paste them into one just to get a summary. I ran it locally instead, and the notes never left my machine.

It took longer than a basic summary. Nothing half-finished came back as finished. The import script that only runs on the sample file came back as "full export not yet tested," and the onboarding docs stayed at "first 3 steps rewritten." Where my notes were thin, it flagged them instead of guessing.

The one thing it never did was build the "planned" bucket I asked for. Whether three pricing tiers is too many came back under "in progress." That's a smaller error than calling it done, but it's why I read every line. It also dropped one line entirely, which I only caught by checking the report against my notes.

My notes didn't label what was done, what was still moving, and what was only an idea. Next time I'll mark each item as I write it: done, in progress, planned, blocked. I'd still read every status before sending the report to my team, and I'd still run it locally.
